Dave Stroup Will Serve as Director of Email and Social Media at Leading Data-Driven Digital Strategy and Advertising Agency

WASHINGTON – Today, Rising Tide Interactive – the leading Democratic and progressive data-driven digital strategy and advertising agency – announced that it has selected Dave Stroup to serve as its Director of Email and Social Media. The award-winning firm and its new heavy-hitting hire worked closely together previously during Sen. Mark Warner’s campaign for reelection in 2014 where Stroup served as Digital Director.

Prior to hitting the campaign trail in Virginia, the Georgetown University graduate developed a reputation as an innovative political strategist, creative problem solver, and skilled writer working at various times for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Sierra Club, Media Matters for America, and other campaigns. In 2012, Stroup was voted “Favorite Political Wonk on Twitter” in the Washington Post’s “DC Tweep” contest – even beating out WAMU’s Kojo Nnamdi.
